About Osprey's Rest 

Osprey’s Rest is a unique holiday accommodation with a difference. It will take you back to the days of the great pioneers who explored this country and forged their own way in the land. The Osprey’s Rest is set on, 4 private acre's Manning river property.

The property has magnificent views overlooking the picturesque, Manning River with pristine beaches and fishing spots, as well as our private jetty. The house is large enough to accommodate 8 people with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas.

Osprey's Rest is also a beautiful venue to hire for weddings, parties and other celebrations. A wedding at Osprey's Rest can be hosted in many different ways. You can have it on the water with a private jetty or you can have it on land with a marquee. You can also have it at night with an outdoor fire and lanterns, or during the day with a picnic lunch by the water. Truely, perfect for those looking for a smaller more intimate celebration.

There is an option of fresh Australian seafood available at our Wild Seafood Bohnock Shop, for your holiday or events. 
 

Discover fishing off our private jetty or hire one of our boats or kayaks, from our Bohnock Bait and Tackle shop, which has been supplying customers for over 24 years now.

Keen birdwatchers are likely to see ever present kookaburras, blue wrens, finches, swallows, rosellas, king parrots, wedge tail eagles and ducks and occasionally at dawn and sunset wallabies venture into the garden.
 

Only a short drive to Old Bar, Forster, Tuncurry and Wingham. Not been discovered by many people!
